Amy Johnson is a news reporter and anchor for Boston’s NBC affiliate, WHDH. Her husband, George Huggins, is a Marine Captain currently serving in Iraq. He is on his 3rd 8-month deployment since 9/11.
With stories about Iraq dominating the newsroom for so long, it is hard for Amy to forget that her husband is in harm’s way. Meanwhile, she is pregnant with their first child.
